Hands down, Google Adsense is the most widely used income generating ad provider world wide. With millions of advertisers within their database, there is an endless stream of topics that can generate ads for your site. Their system takes a little getting used to, and you need a small amount of programming knowledge to implement within your site, but hands-down Adsense has one of highest, if not the highest payouts to generate money from your site.

AdBrite - Ad Placements
Adbrite is a little different from the other ad generators above. They provide a way to display your own ad spots within your site which you have control over the advertisers for your site. Unlike Google, Yahoo, and Kontera, you can generate the advertisers yourself to fill up your ad spots designated by you.
