Manual Article Submissions - Miscellaneous Setup Needed

Now that you have your Simple Text & HTML setup for submission online, open up one more text file for miscellaneous information that will be asked of you from various article directories online. I typically will create a file like this for each article that is submitted online.

What Will Be Included Within The Miscellaneous File?

1. Article Keywords
2. Authors Name
3. Article Categories
4. Message To The Editor (If needed)
5. Word Count & Character Count (of the article)
6. Copyright Information
7. Reprint Rights

Why Do You Need All Of This Info As Well?
Some article directories require some, or all of this extra information.

Article Keywords: Some article directories add meta tags for each article but depend on the author to submit keywords that best describe the article. I say, if the article directory wants to customize their meta-tags for my article, who I am I to complain!

Authors Name: It gets very frustrating when you have to re-type the authors name 100's of times for each article that you submit.

Article Categories: Few article directories require that you type in a recommended category for your article. It's best to have this pre-setup like so (Business > Marketing > Internet Marketing) and so on...

Message To The Editor: This small message is only needed if you have an "editorial" email list that you will be submitting you article to via email subscriptions.

Word Count & Character Count: Some article directories require an accurate word & character count for your article.

Copyright Information: Some article directories only allow you to submit the copyright information separately. It's better to have it pre-setup within a different file just in case.

Reprint Rights: Some article directories only allow you to submit the reprint rights separately. It's better to have it pre-setup within a different file just in case.

Again, setting up everything you need before hand will save you precious time in the end. Each article directory is different and require that you submit your article(s) differently than others.
